Difuse DNS#

DifuseDNS is our homegrown DynDNS service, every difuse device can create 1 free dynamic DNS for itself. Setting it up on our devices is the easiest among all the providers we support.

Name#

Can be anything in this case we just call it DifuseDNS

Service#

For DifuseDNS you must select difusedns.com

Sub Domain#

Now this is something that you have some creative freedom over. We usually just use the company name with hyphens or it can literally be anything you'd like as long as someone else didn't take it.

IP Type#

This let's you pick which IP type you want the domain to have, in our case we've given IPv4, but you can give IPv6 or even IPv4/IPv6

Automatic Toggle#

Turning on Automatic is recommended if you have a dynamic IP assigned by your ISP, else you can turn it off and specify the IP address you want manually.
