Feature Codes

In a PBX (Private Branch Exchange) system, feature codes are special sequences of numbers (sometimes with symbols like * or #) that users can dial to access specific calling features or system functions.

Common Uses of Feature Codes

Feature codes allow users to:

  • Enable/disable call forwarding
  • Access voicemail
  • Park or retrieve a call
  • Pick up another extension’s ringing call
  • Block caller ID
