In a PBX (Private Branch Exchange) system, feature codes are special sequences of numbers (sometimes with symbols like * or #) that users can dial to access specific calling features or system functions.
Feature codes allow users to:

| Call Pickup (any ringing) | *8 | Picks up any ringing extension in the same pickup group |

| Call Recording Toggle | *1 | Starts or stops call recording during a call | 
| Intercom Prefix | *80<ext> | Initiates an intercom call to an extension |
